TRAVEL
BOOKING YOUR FLIGHTS
Vilnius is a very accessible and most young people are fluent in English.
Outside of Vilnius, it may be more difficult to get around and interact with locals.
Consider booking our wedding as a part of an multi-leg trip, perhaps including other Baltic capitals, Oktoberfest happening the same week in Germany, or warmer climates like the coast of Croatia.

ARRIVING IN LITHUANIA
VILNIUS AIRPORT
We recommend flying into Vilnius airport—it might also be the only airport in the country.
The easiest way to get around is using the Baltic equivalent of Uber/Lyft called Bolt.
Vilnius is at least 700-years-old and very walk-able, bike-able, and scooter-able. Considering taking a stroll around town after you’ve settled in.

THINGS TO DO
Vilnius is a beautiful city that offers a striking contrast between its historic old town and modern architecture.
Some place to give a visit:
1. Vilnius Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage Site): Stroll hand-in-hand through one of the largest surviving medieval old towns in Northern Europe, where Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical architecture line charming cobbled streets.
2. Gediminas’ Tower: Climb or take the funicular up Gediminas Hill for panoramic views of the skyline of Vilnius and beyond. The tower also houses a small museum showcasing the city's rich past.
3. Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania: A beautifully reconstructed historical palace offering deep insights into the nation’s heritage via its elegant exhibitions and recreated interiors.
4. Lukiškių kalėjimas 2.0: It’s a former 19th-century prison that has been transformed into a multifunctional cultural space after officially closing in 2019. Instead of demolishing it, Vilnius turned it into a creative hub where history, art, and nightlife blend together.
5. Užupis District & Street Art: Explore the quirky, artistic quarter of Užupis—complete with its own bohemian spirit, whimsical statutes (like the Angel of Užupis), and creative street art around every corner.
